This is an Excellent DVD on stretching and Flexibility!I have good videos on stretching even some by The Great Bill "Superfoots" Wallace. Kwan Lee's Systema Strength and Flexibility DVD is even better than any Wallace video.
The exercise theory and explanation by Kwan Lee allows the viewer to properly perform the techniques whether a beginner or advanced. I've already recommended it to 5 people and I've only had it for 3 days!

Excelling in most martial arts requires some type of flexibility and strength regiment. However, most martial arts DVD's break flexibility and strength up in to two different categories. They usually focus on one or the other. Mr. Lee is one of the few people that I've seen combines the two in an efficient and safe way. I've practiced Judo and Tae kwon do on and off for 10 years; if I had to recommend any video for someone that wanted to be more flexible or stronger (and that referring to joint strength) this would be the one.

Now I'm not saying that your gonna bench 300lbs after mastering this video, especially if your only doing 150lbs now! But what I am saying is that following (then mastering) this video regiment will increase joint strength and allow you to do more pull-ups and some one-handed push-ups. Most 300lbs weight-lifters can't do a pull-up or one handed push-ups!

If their was one thing that could be added was more combination routines for a full body strength and Flexibility workout. That would help people that are new to Systema. With that being said this is still an A++ video!

As an acupuncturist and bodyworker, I see plenty of sports/training injuries. Also after years of strength training and martial arts, I've accumulated a few injuries of my own. Leary of most systems and and their promises, this may be one of the best resources for working on oneself. Joint mobility exercises under the load of bodyweight and gravity is very similar in theory to somatic methods such as "Bones For Life". Strength and mobility cultivated via adaptive practices is intelligent and not so commonly seen. My initial experience with the wrist mobility exercise was like a shot of energetic "WD-40" which reached my shoulder within minutes. Ditch your yoga and stretching media and give this at try!
